File them after you cut them.
When you finish cutting your nails use a small file to round the edges.
File the ends down smooth after you cut them.
Your clippers are dull! Grab a new pair and toss those out!
Isn’t it weird how that happens? You could try filing them after you cut them down and putting on a thick coat of clear polish, making sure to coat the underside of your nails, too. The best thing to do, though, is get a professional manicure- your nails will be soft after one, and you can usually find a nail salon that offers them for less than $10. The only problem I have with professional manicures is that my nails tend to break really easily after I’ve had one.
