How can I cut my nails so that it wont give me that weird feeling when I touch fabrics or have a rough edge?

Everytime I cut my finger nails Its always bumpy and rough at the edges and its makes me feel very strange touching fabrics. So you have a better way to cut my nails so this won’t accur or what I can do to prevent it?
IS it different to each type . . .I Am a male . . .just to let you know . . .

    File them after you cut them.

    Isn’t it weird how that happens? You could try filing them after you cut them down and putting on a thick coat of clear polish, making sure to coat the underside of your nails, too. The best thing to do, though, is get a professional manicure- your nails will be soft after one, and you can usually find a nail salon that offers them for less than $10. The only problem I have with professional manicures is that my nails tend to break really easily after I’ve had one.
