I think there is an iron-on product that will fuse two pieces of fabric. I’ve used it to make hems. But it is not really a permanent fix.

  3. PEEK-A-BOO says:

You can get a “double sided” sticky band.
Place it between the two fabrics and iron it together.

You can get stuff at a fabric store that you iron the fabric together with.

Buy double sided fusing material. You cut it to the same shape and use the iron to get the pieces together.

There is this sticky tape stuff you can use. You put it between the fabrics, and iron the outsides! I’m sorry, I’m not sure what it’s called, but if you describe this to the store clerk (or whoever) they should know!

    Good luck!

with a powder that you can buy at a fabric store.I can’t think of the name now,but mine was in a blue bottle. You put the powder where you want to fuse the fabrics together and then you iron over it.It holds up really well.I used it to mend holes in pants.

I don’t know what you’re trying to make, but double-stick hemming tape works nicely on clothing and pants.

No action can replace sewing but meet all its purposes.
It all depends on types of fabrics you are going to fuse or stick.

You can buy self-adhesive velcro. It works great and no sewing involved!

I scanned the answers before I decided to answer this question –
No one has mentioned acrylic gel medium- I’ve used it in artwork involving cloth and it worked rather nicely, because you are basically gluing two pieces of cloth together.
