I want to buy a comforter it can be dry clean only but what kind of fabrics can go in the dryer safely? I have a lab mix dog that sheds and in between dry cleanings I want to be able to put it in the dryer to rid it of dog hair.

i’ve always put my comforters in the washer and dryer, even my down. unless you buy a real silk one, you’re fine. all that dryclean only stuff is bull****. here’s a tip - put a couple tennis balls in the dryer and it will fluff the blanket back up, it works for winter coats too.
I would NEVER buy a bedspread that couldn’t be washed. I have a down comforter now, with a dupioni silk duvet cover. I have washed & dried both. You just have to watch your temperatures, with some fabrics, I use cold. I wash on delicate cycle and with the silk, I air dry so there is no heat, just moving air & tumbling. I agree about the tennis balls though. I have some brand new ones that I keep in their container just for this purpose. You can also use Keds tennis shoes. Either use new ones or wash them with the comforter. It fluffs them up & the batting or fill doesn’t bunch up. Just be prepared for the noise.
