Cori asked: I am in the process of wallpapering my bathroom with fabric. I have heard that I need to do it using liquid starch. Is liquid starch the same thing as corn starch mixed with water? If not, can I make it myself without having to buy the spraycans of it?

the16cats asked: I heard many years ago about a dye that you get from pennies. You put a lot of pennies in a jar with the yarn and something else and the yarn will dye the pennies. Does anyone know the process? Any links to more info would be really appreciated

sharonlb27 asked: What is the difference between synthetic felts (I know about WOOL felt)? It seems the stuff that you buy from the craft store pills up so easily and is not as tightly woven as some I’ve seen on finished felt products I’ve seen in the stores. I’ve looked on craft blogs and can see in close-up pictures that their felt looks smoother than craft-store felt. Any input would be great!

Maya asked: I want to cosplay as him, but I don’t know which fabrics I should use for his costume. Also if you have a specific color that is closer to the anime, that would be very much appreciated.

angeldevoid71 asked: I have a latch hook pattern that is on paper, but small size. I need to draw it out onto the latch hook fabric. It contains lots of detail, so I cannot do it free hand. Is there an easy way of enlarging it to actual size (copy machine, etc) to trace it onto the fabric? What would be the process on how to do it with a copy machine?

Pirate Girls Kick ****! asked: I am trying to make some of those “therapeutic warming rice things” that people warm in the micro and put on thier eyes or forhead. Any ideas on good things to fill them with too would be nice. I’m thinking flax seeds and some lavender might work well.

Design Tom asked: By flock effect I mean that raised, velvet-like finish often used to apply a floral pattern to textiles or wallpaper. I’m interested in trying to do it myself on a suit jacket or t-shirt. Is applying it a process that can be done at home or is it altogether more industrial (expensive machinery; noxious chemicals; etc.)? I asked a textiles guy at John Lewis and he had no idea whatsoever. Has anyone personally done this?

iamhis0 asked: I am in the process of sewing my own diaper stash, but my local fabric stores are very short on diaper flannel, and they also sell for about $6 a yard! I need some sites where I can find some inexpensive daiper flannel and flannel prints.
