Why is silk so expensive?
Wednesday, October 29th, 2008Jen asked:
or why is it considered to be one of the most, if not, the most luxurious fabric in the world? Would it be the texture? because I’ve felt silk and I think satin feels better…or is it the process of making the silk? Is it stronger than most fabrics? I just never understood that.
