b_lobi asked: My friend recently got sick in my car-gross. Apparently, he had eaten chocolate and cookies a few hours earlier. Not to be too graphic, but there were pieces of hardened processed chocolate in the mix. My favorite purse and his car seat were extremely violated!! He was able to clean most of the nasty stuff off of the fabrics, but the stank is unbearable! How can I SAFELY get rid of the smell on my purse? (It’s a Coach fabric bag with leather trim-thank goodness it was closed when he projectile vomited)! I would **** for this purse to get stained or to make everyone standing downwind feel nauseous.
Also, what’s the best way to get the stink and stain out of my car seat? It is upholstered.
Thanks for your time, and wish me luck not passing out as I hold my breath while driving. I roll with the windows down, but red lights and stop signs are killer!
Please help!
Febreze hasn’t worked.

John D asked: I have a hodgepodge of bath towels, and I wash and dry all of them the same. I use fabric softener and dryer sheets. Some of the towels are better at drying me off than others. I’ve read the other postings that say improving absorbency requires ditching the fabric softeners, but that’s incomplete. Some of my towels are soft but still work well. Does anyone know if there is a specific cotton processing or thread count or something else that is play? Please don’t respond with “brand ‘X’ works for me.” I’d really like to know what specifically is going on with the bath towel and then purchase accordingly.

pookiepoo asked: I have found that some of my sheets get those little bumps on them called piling and some don’t. Is it the fabric quality? Is it the way the fabric is washed?
Thanks

Sammy asked: When you get wool, cashmere, or other such fabrics wet, they shrink. The label states they should be dry-cleaned. However, I learned that dry cleaning is in fact a process where the clothes get wet. Why does that not cause shrinkage? Just curious.

Shipuh asked: Is there a chemical or a mix of chemicals that can remove the water resistancy out of water resistant fabrics?
If so, how would you go about doing this process?
Would it damage the fabric?
