joshcertain asked: i have seen several sellers on ebay who all sell the same exact fabrics and most are licensed childrens prints like disney princess, spiderman, etc. where do they get this fabric? i want to know where they get it to eliminate the middleman because i work from my home by sewing and selling my work and if i could get the fabrics cheaper than buying it from the ebay sellers it would be great!
i am in the greater cincinnati area and could also buy online if possible
they can be seconds or slight irregulars, i just want to know where to get them!

Jen asked: or why is it considered to be one of the most, if not, the most luxurious fabric in the world? Would it be the texture? because I’ve felt silk and I think satin feels better…or is it the process of making the silk? Is it stronger than most fabrics? I just never understood that.

Design Tom asked: By flock effect I mean that raised, velvet-like finish often used to apply a floral pattern to textiles or wallpaper. I’m interested in trying to do it myself on a suit jacket or t-shirt. Is applying it a process that can be done at home or is it altogether more industrial (expensive machinery; noxious chemicals; etc.)? I asked a textiles guy at John Lewis and he had no idea whatsoever. Has anyone personally done this?

~*GodsxBlood*~ asked: to stay on a surface without cracking. I’ve been customizing my Nike’s by making the design myself but now every month or so I have to repeat the process because of chipping. is there a type of sealant or something that will keep the color and not ruin the shoes. And they’re all white if that matters. Oh and they are the Basketball Nike’s not running shoes which means the fabric is tougher than cloth
